Wyong Hospital

The purpose of this stage of NSCCHS Access Plan for Wyong is to modify the existing hospital campus to provide: - Medical Imaging - Medical Services in existing facilities - Integration with other parts of the hospital. The works include: - The construction of a new building for the P.E.C.C - Refurbishment of the existing Emergency Department - The alteration of specific portions of existing building in order to link or accommodate part of the works. - The modification of existing services and the provision of new services as detailed and, where not detailed, as required for the works. - All necessary staging to maintain the hospital's use of existing changing facilities until the new changing facilities are complete.

Challenges

The maintenance and continued use of the existing Emergency Ward for the hospital to continue operation whilst construction works is undertaken.

Clients Specific Needs

Maintaining disruption notification of existing hospital services to keep the hospital informed of construction works in the highly sensitive operating hospital area.
