The construction of bridges and arch structure are now complete. Tie-ins at east end, west end and Wardell Rd are well advanced with asphalt overlay works commenced. Drainage works are also almost complete. Pavement works and construction of noisewalls are 50% and 70% complete respectively. |

Project Overview |
The Bruxner Highway Bypass at Alstonville and Wollongbar requires construction of an interchange at Keys road. Other works include the development of various service roads and retention basins for stormwater, design and construct two bridges and a cattle underpass. The bypass will commence at Sneaths Road, Wollongbar and rejoin the highway at the Tropical Fruit Research Station at Perrys Hill, east of Alstonville. |
