Reservoir and pipeline construction works to service future residential development in Sydney’s North West have commenced in Rouse Hill and Kellyville. Reservoir site construction commenced in August 2009, and the installation of potable water, recycled water and sewer commenced in November 2009.The design of the remaining water infrastructure is near completion with construction of potable water pipelines associated with the reservoir to commence in April 2010. Weather permitting, the works will be completed by late 2010. |

Project Overview |
The first release of the North West Growth Centre covers North Kellyville, Riverstone, Alex Avenue, Riverstone West and Area 20 precincts. The project involves the design and construction of a potable water surface reservoir, trunk potable water inlet and outlet mains, potable water and recycled water distribution mains, reservoir site mains and gravity sewer carriers. |
