Northpark Private Hospital Redevelopment

Redevelopment of existing hospital campus, which includes new buildings and refurbishment of existing. Some of the works involve the extension of Operating Theatre Complex, Mental Health Unit and Mother and Baby Unit, additional surgical beds, new reception, main entrance, consulting rooms and suites as well as refurbishment of inpatient area.

Challenges

Allowing hospital to remain fully operational throughout the redevelopment and maintaining access to all areas of the hospital during the different phases of construction.

Clients Specific Needs

Working with the hospital to allow progress of the program and stages within it, with minimum disruption to their essential services. Weekly meetings are held with The Reed Group team, Client PM and Hospital Management Team to discuss scope, progress and any challenges.

Any specific OH & S or environmental issues

Safe access to all staff, patients and visitors to hospital during construction phase and traffic control when construction vehicles and public / staff are using main entrance to hospital.
