Stage 1 has a very fixed time frame for completion. Other challenges are the constrained work area with narrow construction corridor and working in an active training camp for Royal Military College cadets.
Regular scheduled meetings with the Client, range control, key stakeholders and the end user (RMC) to ensure an open communication process is maintained. Traffic control management is also carried out to ensure limited vehicle movement within Camp Blake to prevent interruptions to ongoing training manoeuvres by cadets.
Stage 1 was handed over to the client at the end of November 2010. Stage 2 works are underway and is due for completion in mid April 2011.
