Broome Air Traffic Control Tower and Fire Station

The project involves the construction of an air traffic control tower 16 m in height and a fire station, which will accommodate approximately 20 airport staff. Precast concrete construction methods will be used for the tower and the cabin will be constructed from structural steel and 40mm thick glass. There is a large component of mechanical and electrical services due to the complexity of the project. The whole facility will sit neatly under one roof. The external circulation for fire station vehicles uses the shortest logical path leaving vehicles pointing ready for immediate deployment.
