Welcome to The Reed Group’s webpage about Building the Education Revolution (BER), a $16.2 billion national investment from the Australian Government in schools across the country as part of the Nation Building Economic Stimulus Plan.  This investment aims to build learning environments to help children, families and communities participate in activities that will support achievement, develop learning potential and bring communities together. This month marks 15-months since The Reed Group was announced as Managing Contractor for the New England and North Coast regions of NSW and we are now well into the rollout with works having commenced on 374 of 403 projects across the 335 schools, with 100 projects successfully delivered to date.

I want to take this opportunity to introduce myself as the new Program Director, replacing Christopher Andrews who has moved into the role of Senior Program Director for the delivery of BER works for The Reed Group. Prior to my appointment, I was the Program Manager for the Port Macquarie region for the BER works, and I am well familiar
with the scope and complexity of this rollout.

Given the size and scale of the BER program, it’s not that surprising that much has been said and written about how this program is administered and rolled out. As a privately owned Australian company, we fully appreciate the public focus on the program given the level of investment involved and I would like to take this opportunity to assure you that we do not take the responsibility lightly. The enthusiasm, commitment and dedication to deliver every school a new asset that adds value now and into the future is foremost in our mind.

The Reed Group is committed to keeping all stakeholders as up to date as possible and this page is a primary source of relevant information for your area. If have a specific query, please forward in email to berenquiry@reedgroup.com.au or call us toll-free on 1800-18-7333.

On behalf of all at The Reed Group, I would like to take this opportunity to sincerely acknowledge and thank the many workers across the North Coast and New England who have worked, and continue to work, tirelessly to keep this program on track. It is greatly appreciated and would not possible without them.
