The Reed Group’s Civil division is managed by a team of professionals who have over 30 years experience in civil design, construction and project management. The hands-on approach of the management team ensures clients are dealing with experienced personnel that are able to identify and address potential problems and opportunities on any given project.
The division combines the focus and skills of civil construction specialists who have vast experience with all types of projects from major road works, bulk excavations, bridges, railway infrastructure, dam constructions, remediation works and public domain works and enjoys a reputation of completing projects on time and within budget, with quality outcomes.
The Reed Group’s Civil division has also commenced work in the mining sector with the Cameby Downs Coal Mine – Civil and Concrete Works project in Chinchella, Queensland.
The staff are enthusiastic, progressive and dynamic in the way they approach all projects and operate within a culture that truly understands traditional customer service expectations. Delivery of projects in a highly professional manner and beyond the customers’ expectations is The Reed Group’s main focus.
The design teams are selected on a project-by-project basis to ensure the optimum skill and experience level to suit each specific project with strategy that includes continuous liaison with the client during the early phases, so the team can develop a clear understanding of each project's short and long-term objectives. The Reed Group has a list of award winning design and construction completed projects.
To complement the design team and extend its services beyond the structural and civil elements of construction, The Reed Group employs an in-house services department. This enables a more practical and fluid transfer of information between the consultants and promotes a broader understanding across all disciplines.
All projects are delivered under the provision of The Reed Group’s accredited corporate quality assurance system, requiring the preparation of a project specific quality plan, endorsed and administered by senior site personnel to ensure the quality of the work.
The Reed Group has an approved OHS&R, third party accredited Quality Assurance and Environmental Management System used on all projects and has the ability to integrate structural engineering with architectural services to complete any infrastructure project.
The Reed Group’s Civil division carries out projects up to $800 million. It specialises in road, rail, bridge, civil/mechanical installations and also undertakes complex hydraulic and electrical engineering contracts.
Unlike other forms of construction, each civil project can differ greatly. At The Reed Group, experienced and skillful staff and contractors are chosen for each project.
