The Reed Group (Reed) is committed to ensuring the health, safety and welfare of its employees, subcontractors and other persons undertaking work across all Reed sites. An Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Management system is in place to support this. Reed's OHS objective is to establish 'Zero Harm' work sites through the implementation of a 'Best Practice' OHS Management system, underpinned by a culture where health and safety is the number one priority.
Reed executives team has made a significant investment in establishing an internal structure to implement our 'Best Practice' safety standards which enables any health and safety matter to be raised directly with the General Manager. This structure ensures that safety is not compromised for production, and reiterated the commitment of the Reed executive to health and safety.
This dedication to OHS has resulted in Reed attaining the Federal Safety Commission (FSC) Accreditation in 2008. This accreditation enables Reed to tender and undertake projects funded by the Federal Government that have a contract value in excess of $3 million. FSC Accreditation will support future company growth, advancing Reed's market position within the construction industry.
