The Reed Group has been involved in project design and construction for over thirty years. The company has established productive working relationships with both public organisations and private clients in the areas of education, health/aged care, defence, local government departments (including RTA and NSW Government Department of Finance and Services (DFS)), retail, hospitality, water and housing.Our capabilities are described below.
Design
Reed recognises that the design phase is critical to the overall delivery of a project. A design team is selected on their experience in the project requirements and ability to work efficiently and harmoniously. Detailed and specific briefs are prepared for the team to ensure a quality approach and finish.
The Reed strategy includes close liaison with the client during the initial development and design phase to develop a clear appreciation of the client’s present and future objectives.
To complement the design team and extend its experience beyond structural and architectural elements of construction, Reed has developed an engineering department that involves services, structural and civil involving concrete technology to ensure the client receives the desired project outcome. This also enables a more practical and fluid transfer of information between the consultants and promotes a broader understanding across all disciplines.

Construction
Reed engages highly skilled personnel who work as a cohesive team to deliver the project requirements during the construction phase of the job. By selecting appropriate sub contractors with the relevant design and construction skills, Reed is able to make certain that the most practical approach to the construction phase is adopted in compliance with the project design intent.
The Reed team procedure ensures that design consultants and installing sub contractors agree construction details within a controlled forum. As well, our service engineering specialists provide valuable expertise in the successful delivery of projects.
Reed has developed expertise and specialist skills to organise difficult and time critical projects utilising our forward planning and co-ordination skills. Our careful attention to planning ensures that minimum inconvenience is experienced by all parties involved in the project, especially if construction is to proceed in occupied areas.
All projects are delivered under the provisions of our corporate quality assurance policy, requiring the preparation of a project specific quality plan, endorsed and administered by senior site personnel to ensure the quality of our work.
